  • Sunny Times is Australian raw honey, produced and bottled in the Tweed Valley, Northern NSW. Our beehives sit within the ancient caldera landscape, all within a 10-minute drive from our home.

    We’re the beekeepers behind every jar caring for our stationary hives, harvesting in small batches, and bottling our raw honey ourselves.

    Placed in pristine, often hard-to-reach native forest locations, our hives draw from diverse local flora, shaping the unique, nuanced flavour of our Northern NSW raw honey.

  • Crystallisation is completely normal in raw honey and doesn’t mean it’s gone bad. It happens when the natural sugars in honey (especially glucose) begin to form crystals and it’s actually a good sign your honey is raw, real, and unprocessed, not overheated or heavily filtered.

    If your raw honey has turned thick or grainy, simply place the jar in a bowl of warm water and stir gently until it becomes runny again.

  • To keep your raw honey at its best, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, like a pantry or cupboard. There’s no need to refrigerate honey, and in fact, colder temperatures can make raw honey crystallise faster.

    If you prefer a firmer, more set texture (especially for creamed honey), you can store it in the fridge for a thicker consistency.

  • Yes. Sunny Times is truly raw honey, made in Australia and kept as close to the hive as possible. Our honey is never heated and only lightly filtered, which helps preserve its natural goodness, including enzymes, pollen, and flavour.

    We harvest from our own hives and bottle our raw honey ourselves, keeping it fresh, traceable, and minimally processed. Our hives are placed on certified organic farms and along protected forest edges, supporting clean foraging and a healthy environment for our bees. We practise minimal intervention and only take surplus honey, always prioritising the wellbeing of the hive.
